2 & 3-D Visualization and Analysis
| We are involved in the visualization, modeling and analysis of earth science
structures and processes. This effort involves utilization of geographic information
systems (GIS), relational database management systems (RDBMS), spatial statistics and
exploratory data analysis software, and 3-D visualization software in order to perform
integrated analysis of large and complex sets of earth science data. Projects include
development of 3-D models of the geology at LANL to support environmental restoration and
hydrologic modeling activities, and integration and archival of earth science data from
