Yucca Mountain Project Principal Investigator for Alteration History, project geologist for Fenton Hill Hot Dry Rock Geothermal Project. Studies of diagenetic and hydrothermal alteration of pyroclastic rocks; textural and mineralogic studies of breccias and fracture zones; analysis of relict colloidal deposits; supervision of mineral and glass dehydration/rehydration studies; natural analog studies for repository performance; integration of petrologic and structural studies of underground flow paths with chlorine-36 tracer studies.
