LANL History

I began my experience at the Laboratory in June of 1978. Since that time I have been involved in a number of programs and assignments which include:

Environmental Restoration (ER) Program (1992-present). Some highlights of my activities in this program include assessing geology for several work plan units, being a field team leader, and as a geophysical data steward in the Data Analysis and Assessment Focus Area.

Acting Group Leader of EES-1, Geology and Geochemistry (May-September, 1994)

Yucca Mountain Project (1990-1992). I was QA liaison for a section of the Yucca Mountain geoscience team.

Nuclear Test Containment (1981-1990). I was a geophysical well log analyst and database manager for geophysical data used in characterizing emplacement boreholes at the Nevada Test Site.

Geothermal Log Interpretation Program (1980-1981). I worked on geophysical log interpretation of logs from several geothermal boreholes in the western US.

National Uranium Resource Evaluation (1978-1980). I participated in data assessment and reporting of multi-element chemical analyses of water and stream sediment samples from several western United States areas and was PI for a special study of the Oscura and northern San Andres Mountains on the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
